Expertise at Pro Centre

Our expertise at Pro Centre is rooted in long-term and regular contact with people involved in prostitution and other types of sex work.

Pro Centre's services were established in Helsinki in the 1990s, and work in Tampere began in 2006. Work with our service users provides information about the circumstances of the target group, the need for services and the general changing trends in the prostitution scene.

Pro Centre follows discussions on prostitution and human trafficking in Finland and internationally. Through contact with foreign organisations and international networks, Pro Centre keeps its expertise up to date with changes in the prostitution and other sex work sectors.
